I'm a documentary photographer based in Järvenpää, Finland. For over a decade, I've specialised in capturing weddings, portraits, events and corporate work — always with the same guiding principle: let the moment speak for itself.
Photography, for me, is about paying attention. Not arranging things to look beautiful, but finding the beauty in what's already there — a sideways glance, a laugh that catches someone off guard, the quality of afternoon light through a window.
I work quietly and without imposition. My clients consistently tell me they barely noticed I was there — and yet, every moment was caught. That's the balance I'm always searching for.
Approach
I don't pose or stage. I observe, anticipate and respond. The result is images that feel real because they are — drawn from life as it actually happened.
I'm obsessed with natural light — its colour, direction, and quality. Almost all of my work is made with available light, which gives it a consistency and warmth that studio setups rarely match.
I work alone, with a small, quiet kit. No assistants, no flash, no disruption. My presence is designed to dissolve into the event so that what you see in the images is the truth of the day.
My post-processing is deliberate and restrained — I aim for edits that age well, not ones that are tied to a particular filter trend. Your images should look as good in thirty years as they do today.
"Great photography doesn't create the moment — it recognises it."
